Mitragyna speciosa (commonly known as kratom) is a tropical evergreen tree in the coffee family native to Southeast Asia. It is indigenous to Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Papua New Guinea, where it has been used in traditional medicines since at least the nineteenth century. Kratom has opioid properties and some stimulant-like effects.

We use Lemon Juice + Ethanol extraction. It’s classified “Generally Regarded as Safe” by the FDA and is already used in many common foods and medicines including CBD oil. We are also testing sonic extraction in vodka + lemon juice + citric acid as well.

Definitions & Understanding:
Antioxidant: Helps remove excess oxidation at the cellular level, presenting a less toxic base. This improves both the uptake of the key element we’re using to provide an experience (eg a Nootropic – like Celastrus, or Herbal extract like Kava or Kratom).
Adaptogen: Adaptogens work to enhance the body’s ability to handle stress. The right kinds of Adaptogens enhance the performance of almost any neurological or physiological enhancer by keeping the body and neurochemicals from acting in Fight or Flight mode.
Nootropics: The key neurological enhancers. Our definition goes beyond the classic “brain enhancement” to almost always include Neurogenesis – the stimulation of new brain cells. Nootropics typically enhance choline levels and flow. GABA receptor activity. Some serotonin activity, along with peripheral neurochemical action (both in brain and in gut) complete this key element.
Choline Donors: Nootropics “eat” choline at an accelerated rate. So a source of choline (or precursor) improves the effects in a big way. Choline is a key neurotransmitter in cognitive response. Too little, and you feel brain dead. Too much, and you get lethargic and foggy-headed. So balancing this is very key to proper nootropic response and effect.
Stimulants: Nootropics increase neurological chemical expression, at a cost in net-energy loss while the nootropics are converted to key neurochemicals. These amplifiers are called Potentiators. They separate our formulas from the brute force approach most often found in off-the-shelf supplements. While eliminating toxicity and tolerance issues.
